The similarities are uncanny. 

History tends to repeat itself every 20 or 30 years..at least in the arts! 

 The Don Shearer Exhibition at The Box Gallery on Friday, October 14 , curated by Sandra Schulman, which opens with a reception and live music by Cecilia Cruz at 7 p.m. is followed by a star cast of documentarians. Louis Canales is joined by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Liz Balmaseda,Taste-maker photo-documentarian Manny Hernandez, and arts writer and curator Sandra Schulman in a two hour presentation sharing about the groundbreaking events that shaped the eventual South Beach Art and Cultural in a presentation aptly called Art and Culture of South Beach Renaissance: The American Riviera on the following evening, Saturday, October 15 at 7 p.m.
