Curator and winner of the 2020 Muse Award For Cultural Leadership forges ahead with impact!
Artist/Curator, Rolando Chang Barrero releases upcoming programing for 2020-2021 Season.
Rolando Chang Barrero ,who recently was awarded the Muse Award for Cultural Leadership by The Cultural Council of the Palm Beaches and special guest of the Norton Museum conversations on Latinidad, will continue to presenting works that are poignant and relevant to the arts world and the local community in spite of the obstacles presented during the COVID19 pandemic which almost led to the closing of his gallery.
With a long history of showcasing personal works and that of others which confront guests and collectors with issues related to child trafficking, environmental concerns, immigration, addiction, social justice, LGBTQ issues, and even elderly invisibility, Rolando is unfettered by with uptick of recent fallout of the pandemic, the elections, and the vitriol that he and his gallery have suffered through this year.

On World AIDS Day | A DAY WITH(out) ART, December 1, 2020, the premier of Transmissions a series of six new films by Visual AIDS will be presented at 8 PM at The Box Gallery and will continue throughout the week.

Clean Slate the work of Domenic Esposito at The Box Gallery which opens on February 5, 2020. A series of new works in bronze which focuses on isolation and mental health. Included in the exhibition will be his highly controversial piece the FDA Spoon which brought international attention to the opioid crisis in America.
