All Florida II: Abstractions

West Palm Beach-The Cultural Corridor's Box Gallery is set to celebrate it's first anniversary on June 16, 2017 from 6-10 p.m.  with the All Florida II Abstractions Exhibition, a collection of paintings and sculptures created by the following Florida based artists: Sue Oakes, Robert Catapano, Christine Ellinghausen, George Goodridge, Chad Perlman, Rolando Chang Barrero, Ilene Adams, Zachary Knudson, Anna Skorut, Cheryl Brown, Sandra Pfeifer, Tanya Witzel, Ray Fernandez, and others.

The Box Gallery which opened last June has featured over 500 artists, 30 exhibitions, hosted a dozen special events, fundraisers, artists talks, and even a ballet recital. The Box Gallery has fast become the place to show cutting edge contemporary artwork  created by regional, as well as, national artists seeking audience from Palm Beach collectors and designers.

Owner Rolando Chang Barrero has been keeping busy throughout the year establishing partnerships and relationships with notable curators, gallerists, museums, and art fair organizers carefully setting the ground to benefit the City of West Palm Beach, which he now calls, "A world class city to be reckoned with."

From fine art to street art... The Box Gallery has been sponsor of collaborative projects with The Palm Beach County Cultural Council, The Boynton Beach Art District, Art Synergy, Art Palm Beach, The WPB Warehouse District, the Mandel Jewish Community Center of the Palm Beaches, and most recently Rolando Chang Barrero was called to curate the 1st West Palm Beach Spring Art Festival.
Festivities include light fare and of course wine and bubbly!
