Palm Beach County (November 4, 2021)- The Box Gallery spotlights local artists for the holidays. The Artists Showcase opens on November 13, 2021 with a reception from 6-9 PM. The group exhibition is more a diaspora exhibition than a traditional gift show one would expect. The exhibition which features more than 10 South Florida artists including notable art student, Dennis Jones, highly recognized Israeli painter, Yochi Yakir Avin, and Trinidadian visual artist and fine jewelry designer, Sonya Sanchez Arias whose upcycled and recycled fashion and body adornments has placed her on the top of everyone's holiday gift lists.
Other notable artists included in this years showcase are: Suzanne Barton with her mystical underwater photography, Lesley Koenig's mural size abstract paintings, Kim Frimel's angelic themed works on paper, Rosilis Cuevas' beachscapes, inspirational works by International TEDx speaker, author and visual artist Erika Obando, and recent works by Raizes Award winning Cuban-American artist, Rolando Chang Barrero.
