Novelists, poets, and art critics present published works in a meet and greet that includes readings, signings, Q and A session at The Box Gallery.
Eduardo Hernandez de La Pava is a Colombian - American citizen
Business Administrator, graduated from the EAN Business Administration School of Bogotá.
He began his journalistic activities in 1976, in Bogotá, Colombia in the university newspaper Acción y Crítica, with the column “Arte y Cultura”. And in the Tolijunior magazine, from the Junior Chamber in the city of Ibagué.
He has lived in the United States since 1986. In 1988 he took the course on “News Reporting” at the School of Continuous Studies at the University of Miami, “The John Koubek Memorial center”.
He has been a correspondent and contributor to several publications including: La Prensa Latina USA newspaper, Lea Magazine, in Miami and Palm Beach, El Alma Hispana magazine, in Palm Beach and in the online magazine Prensarosa.com, in Barcelona, Spain.
Co-founder and Vice President of the Palm Beach County Circle of Journalists and Writers, years 1988-2000
During the years 1988 to 1992, he was an active member and Individual Development Vice President, of the Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce), chapter of the city of Boca Raton.
He has worked as an Art Consultant in various galleries in the southern state of Florida. His passion for art and as a collector, took him, in 2011 to Madrid, Spain; to take the course "Collecting: How to buy, sell and invest in Contemporary Art."
He has carried out several exhibition projects, together with art galleries, from Miami to Orlando, Madrid, Spain and Bogotá, Colombia.
D. Marina Sanchez born in the city of L َ íbano, Department of Tolima, Colombia.She is a Barteriologist specialized in Hematology and certified in the United States. She worked for 42 Years in Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois.
During her childhood she grew up listening to her Brother recite poetry which made her fall in love with poetry. She has published 2 collections of poems: The first is called Sentimientos and the second, A la Deriva del Corazón and a book that she just published about the Colombian Amazon, where she spent 4 years founding the Laboratory for the Amazonian trapezoid and recounting my Scientific and Human experiences that I titled: Magical Amazon. “The stay in the Amazon was a great experience that I wanted to share to make known the need to preserve this magical lung of the planet.
I have a great desire to continue putting all my concerns and feelings on paper, to pour part of what I carry within my heart: the love of poetry.”
