On June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old local man, killed 49 people and wounded 53 more in a mass shooting inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, United States. Orlando Police officers shot and killed him after a three-hour standoff.

Original display at The Box Gallery in West Palm Beach.
103 pajaros were painted on the windows of the Box Gallery; 49 pajaros crying blood representing the victims that lost their lives, 53 other pajaros representing the victims injured, and single pajaro representing the the incarnate homophobia of a person/culture that lead to this atrocity. 

The paint was removed and retained in glass jar along with all ephemera associated with installation. 

Originally an interactive memorial window installation of 49+53+1 painted Pajaros all the victims of the Pulse Nightclub Murders created in June 2017 on the 1 year anniversary of the

Pulse Nightclub Murders in Orlando.
