I met up with Rolando at his latest gallery venture, the Box Gallery off of Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach--really excited to talk about his art and his career and everything like that. But, we ended up talking, yes... about that, but also about SO MUCH MORE!! From the HIV/AIDS crisis in the 80s through the evolution of activism into modern times, Rolando has seen up close and personal a history in this country that hasn't always been pretty, but has brought out a spirit of activism that has always been at the core beautiful.
