27 year friendship with Sandra Schulman creates powerful curatorial team In West Palm Beach!


Sandra Schulman and Rolando Chang Barrero come together for the sixth time in two years to create the a powerful curatorial team.

Sandra has been bringing international artists to The Box, many of them in conjunction with Howl Happening Gallery in NYC

The upcoming show adds a new level of notoriety as Barbara Hulanicki has been named Order of the British Empire in the UK by Prince Charles.

For over 30 years Sandra Schulman has been notably recognized for her writing career due to hundreds of interviews of creatives and her outstanding published works which include: Don't Tell Me How I Looked Falling: The Ballad of Peter La Farge, From Kokopelli's to Electric Warriors: The Native American Culture of Music, Honest Injun: Hollywood, History, and the Great White Lie, and most recently Spiritual America The Catalog 1983 - 1984 about her time as co-curator at The Spiritual America Gallery in NYC's 5 Rivington Street.

From dressing Twiggy, Brigitte Bardot, David Bowie, Marianne Faithful and the Rolling Stones, Barbara Hulanicki made her name with the cult fashion brand she started with her husband Stephen Fitz-Simon ("Fitz").

The BIBA Shop remains one of the most evocative names in British design history, Biba brought the cutting edge of couture to the masses. Brigitte Bardot, Yoko Ono and Princess Anne shopped there, while Sonny and Cher, Mick and Marianne were regular visitors among other celebrities and everyday women who fell in love with the clothing which would define an era.
